Improved Dynamics Model of Locomotive Traction Motor with Elasticity of Rotor Shaft and Supporting Bearings

Abstract The locomotive traction motor is described as a rotor-bearing system coupling the kinetic equations of shaft and its support bearings with determination their elastic deformations in this study. Under effect excitations induced by dynamic rotor eccentric distance time-varying mesh stiffness, structure are formulated vibration environment locomotive. In addition, nonlinear contact forces between components rolling bearing, lubricating oil film, radial clearance comprehensively considered results indicate that can change responses bearings.
